Description
Extremely rare to survive a complete with original contents box of multicoloured pleated paper bottle caps. These were used by 19th century druggists as decorative branding and identification for various drugs and medicines. They would have been sleeved over the tops of cork finished bottles. Ca. 1870s. Discovered in the basement of a 19th century Ontario drug store.
