Outstanding and rare CDV photograph of a proud shoe maker holding a pair of women’s button-up shoes with many pairs spread out on the table in front. Likely used as a business or calling card by the merchant, signed in period ink “Yours Truly E.W. Hendershot” and dated 25th June 1870. The photographer is identified as Geo. Grenville, Artist, Thorold, Ontario.
