Incredible 1850s yellow paper box with lid featuring a graphic blue label illustrating the factory of ‘The India Rubber Comb Co., N.Y. Sole Manufacturers under Goodyear’s PATENTS 1849 -51. An additional label on the side indicates the company was the sole manufacturers of India Rubber and Gutta Percha Combs. Patents listed range from 1844 to 1858.
