Description
Ca. 1905, unique french self storage stereoscope viewer in decorative wooden box. Box is engraved Julien Damoy. The lid slides back allowing the viewer to pop up, the lid is then slid back closed and the with decorative slitted wooden handle used to hold the card for viewing. Fully functional and operational. Lot includes nine original Julian Damoy stereoview postcards, nine more cards designed for the viewer as well as an original complete illustrated packet holding 24 views.
